BBP points are not cash. They cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. They are issued server-side only, with an append-only ledger to guarantee integrity.

Some awards enter a pending period (e.g. 72 hours for meetup confirmations, 30 days for referrals) for safety and fraud review.
Once the review period passes, points become available in your wallet and can be redeemed immediately.
Available points expire 12 months after their availability date. Pending points do not expire while pending.
The redemption catalog is staff-managed and may evolve. Exact terms for each benefit are shown at redemption time.
